I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. if a deal looks too good to be true it usually has some kind of catch. i also check if the store explains how to measure pd and frame size clearly. for example i compared cotton polyester and mixed fabrics for similar clothing items. bad lenses can cause eye strain reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. if anyone is interested in real user experiences i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test. you can find one of the pages here: visit this page loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. price is important to me but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. it is interesting to see how different people value different aspects of a product. sometimes customer service can fix a bad experience but not always. for things that i use every day i prefer to pay a bit more if the quality is stable. i like when they mention whether the fabric has stretch or not that detail matters a lot. maybe this is useful for someone.
